研究を始めたきっかけ

My interest in using information and communication technology (ICT) in the classroom began during my early years of teaching, when I saw firsthand how digital tools could engage students in ways traditional methods could not. As I explored platforms for language learning, assessment, and collaboration, I became increasingly aware of ICT’s potential to support diverse learning styles and promote learner autonomy. This led me to integrate technology more intentionally into my teaching, and it has since become a central focus of my professional development and research.

研究概要

My research focuses on the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in the language learning classroom, with the goal of enhancing both learner outcomes and instructional efficiency. I am particularly interested in how digital tools can increase student engagement, provide access to authentic language input, and support learner autonomy through personalized and self-paced learning. ICT platforms also facilitate communication, collaboration, and formative assessment, allowing students to take a more active role in their own learning.

連携できるポイント

Exposure to ICT in the classroom equips learners with essential digital skills and problem-solving strategies that are highly transferable to the modern workplace. By engaging with technology for communication, research, collaboration, and task management, students develop critical thinking, adaptability, and confidence in using digital tools—skills that are increasingly demanded in the global workplace.

提供できるシーズまたは支援できる分野

In underserved or rural communities, effective ICT integration can help bridge educational gaps by expanding access to quality resources and instruction. Additionally, by promoting lifelong learning habits and digital confidence, this research contributes to broader social goals such as inclusion, innovation, and equal opportunity in an increasingly digital world.
