Japanese Language, Cultural Opportunities and Tutorial Help
Tsuru University, located to the east at the foot of Mt. Fuji, offers not only courses in Japanese language but also a variety of cultural experiences, such as classical tea ceremony, flower arrangement and calligraphy. Students can also enjoy participating in traditional cultural activities and annual events, such as Hassaku Matsuri, as part of the local community of Tsuru City, an old castle town. There are many sports activities available on campus, including Japanese Archery and Kendo among other popular sports. There are plenty of opportunities to join local primary and secondary schools to assist teachers with programs related to international understanding.
